India after 63 years of Independence

            This is our 64^th Independence Day & I am proud to be an Indian. But are you? I am proud because of India’s art, culture, festival, language, people & geographic location. You can’t find these any other country. But I am feel really bad what we had got after 63 years. Today India’s rank as low as any other developing countries in various sector.

I discuss about some sector -

Broadband

     India’s rank is 128 published by speedtest.net. It is after Pakistan & Srilanka. In the world where everyone goes as fastest as possible, we are in still dark era. Some of the countries have 1Mbps is legal right, but here most of the user using Dial-up connection thanks to our ISPs & Government.

Telecom

     The total number of subscriber is 562.21 Million (December 2009). Presently in India there are more than 15 operators in telecom market. A huge competition is going on; we called “Tariff War”.  Everyday new tariff lunched. Subscribers are very much confused about that. If you notice that every mobile user has two or more connection. DOT or Department of Telecom know everything but did not take any action.

Example: High call charges, wrong balance deduction, confusing VAS charges, call drop, network fail (just check you cell phone, you will see full signal bars) etc.  Who suffers? We the common man.

Lastly we heard that MNP or Mobile Number Portability starts on 31^st October 2010. This is fourth time they change the lunch date.

Inflation 

     Today it is a serious problem. First of all what inflation is? The inflation is a phenomenon when the prices of everything goes up over time.  Our government say Indian economy is growing but only calculating GDP we can’t say this. Because most parts of our country a people daily earning is Rs19. Maximum villagers can’t afford two times food in a day.  

Sports 

     We are very serious about cricket but what about other games? What about FIFA world cup? We are so excited and waiting for four years. We are analyzing them after each and every match. But our ranking is 138!!! Please do not talk about other games.  

Security 

     We are messed up everything, Maoist, terrorist and some morcha or committee.  Security is now a political game.  Now our security forces fight with our own people. There is a big question in internal security. Everywhere something is going on. You can say Jammu-Kashmir, West Bengal, Bihar, Orrisa, North-East, Andhra Pradesh etc every state.

Also we can talk about education, politics, castism, racism, literacy, bad culture etc, so many things.

But still India has something that other countries haven’t. These are Skills, knowledge & talent. That’s why we appreciate everywhere. Our food, art & culture are also in that list. Now our Indian cinema goes international. They are very much appreciated by all over the world.
